American Lamb Sliders with Whipped Feta and Arugula

lamb loin chops with cucumber mint salad and sweet and smoky tahini

Ingredients

For the Burgers:

-1 lb ground American lamb

-1/4 yellow onion, diced

-1 tsp sea salt

-1 tsp oregano

-1/2 tsp garlic powder 

-1/2 tsp black pepper

Whipped Feta:

-4oz feta cheese

-1/4 cup plain greek yogurt 

-1 tbsp olive oil

-1/2 lemon, juiced

-sea salt, to taste 

For Topping:

-pickled onions

-arugula

-whipped feta

-slider buns

Directions

  1. Add the ground American Lamb to the mixing bowl. Then add in the seasonings & chopped onions. Mix and form patty. (Smaller size for sliders)

  2. Preheat grill to 450 degrees. Cook for 5-6 min on each side. USDA recommends an internal temp of 160°F!

For the Feta:

  1. In a food processor or blender, add all ingredients & blend until creamy!

For Serving:

  1. Plate sliders with buns, whipped feta, pickled onions & arugula. Enjoy!
