Ingredients
Serves: 4 - 6
- 1 pound ground lamb
- Salt (to taste)
- Pepper (to taste)
- 1 tablespoon chili powder
- 1 tablespoon cumin
- 1 tablespoon dried oregano
- 1 tablespoon oil
- 1 lime, (juiced)
- 1/2 bottle dark beer
- Flour or corn tortillas
- Cilantro (chopped)
Directions
In a small bowl, combine salt, pepper, chili powder, cumin and oregano; set aside.
Heat oil in a large skillet over medium heat; add ground lamb and cook until browned. Add spice mixture, lime juice and beer. Cook 2-3 minutes longer.
Serve in flour or corn tortillas, cilantro and your choice of salsa.
The USDA recommends ground lamb reach an internal temperature of 160 degrees F.
