From Coast to Coast: The Winning Dishes of Lamb Jam 2026

After a month of bold flavors, creative dishes, and incredible support from diners across the country, Lamb Jam Dine Around Month has officially come to a close and the results are in.

Throughout April, chefs in eight cities showcased American lamb with original small plate creations featured on their restaurant menus. Diners explored participating restaurants, voted for their favorite dishes, and helped celebrate the chefs bringing American lamb to the spotlight in exciting and innovative ways.

This year’s East Coast Champion is Chef Cody Chassar of Gunshow in Atlanta for his Lamb Bellies featuring lamb boudin sausage and carrot sofrito. On the West Coast, Chef Francis Ang of Abacá in San Francisco earned the championship title for his Sinigang Lamb Ribs with tamarind glaze and bone broth. Both chefs will advance to the Lamb Jam Finale at Platform by James Beard in New York City this November.

What’s Next?

This summer, each winning chef will host an exclusive Lamb Jam dinner experience at their restaurant, featuring American lamb inspired menus, curated pairings, and special storytelling moments that connect diners to the ranchers and producers behind the product.

Then in November, the East and West Coast Champions will travel to New York City for the Lamb Jam Finale at Platform by James Beard, where the celebration of American lamb continues.
