The American Lamb story is one based on a rich heritage of animal stewardship, conservation and an enduring commitment to help shape a new food culture based on flavor, quality, humanity and sustainability, and we’re excited to share that story with you at #FNCEFriday. If you haven’t tried American Lamb
before, we invite you to feed your adventurous side and try the two delicious dishes
we’ll be serving that evening. We’ll also have the perfect complement to each
of these bites, wine from Grgich Hills Estates. Why Grgich Hills? As you’ll see
in our recently released short film, Stewards of the Land,
wineries play an important role in regenerative agriculture, much like the American
Lamb industry, by bringing in thousands of sheep to graze among the vines to
trim back the grasses that have grown after the long winter. Sheep improve the
quality of the land they graze by cycling nutrients back into the soil, proving
grazing is not just good for the land, but it’s good for the wine, too! We’re
eager to share our pairings with you at #FNCEFriday. We are excited to bring you a
social media contest, share your pictures of American Lamb during the event and
tag @fanoflamb, for the chance to win an American lamb shoulder and meat thermometer. We look forward to networking with
you and discussing opportunities to work together in the future. In the
meantime, please check out our new American
Sheep Industry Sustainability report. Are you ready to feed your
adventurous side? Gastronomically yours, The American Lamb Board
